I am an idiot!

I got smart today and googled my treadmill hoping to find a replacement part or something so that I could fix the console and start monitoring my speed. I cannot believe how ridiculously easy the fix was! The console is battery operated and had a taken a closer look at it I would have seen where the batteries go. So the good news is, despite me being an idiot, the treadmill is now fixed and appears to be fully operational for tomorrow. I looked at the serial number, etc. before I googled it...it was manufacture in August of 1996. It's had a good life so far...hopefully it will last a lot longer!
